Terms of Service

Your account

You need an account to use Kallydo, and the app is for account holders with a subscription, a running free trial or free early access (below). Keep your sign-in method secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.

Your content is yours

You keep all rights to the whiteboards and other content you create. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store, back up, transmit and display your content to you and to anyone you deliberately share it with. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models.

Acceptable use

Do not use Kallydo to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, to store or distribute malware, or to attack, overload or probe the service. Do not resell the service or try to circumvent access controls. We may suspend accounts that do these things.

Availability and changes

Kallydo is early-stage software under active development. Features may change or be removed, and we do not promise any particular uptime. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We will give reasonable notice before any change that would delete your content.

Plans and prices

Kallydo is one subscription, paid monthly or yearly: US$15.00 a month, tax included, or US$144.00 a year, tax included. Prices are in US dollars and include tax. The features are the same on both plans. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your card is charged the plan’s price each time, until you cancel.

Accounts created before paid plans opened have free early access: they keep using Kallydo for free, with no subscription. We may end free early access one day; if we do, we will tell those account holders directly, and they can subscribe before their access changes. These terms promise no notice period for that change.

Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial, one per email address. A card is required to start it, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. When you start the trial, the app shows the date it ends. On that date your trial turns into the plan you picked, and the first payment is taken automatically from the card you added. Cancel before that date and you pay nothing: you keep Kallydo until the trial ends, whether you cancel in Kallydo or on Creem’s billing page. A cancelled trial cannot be restarted; subscribing later starts a paid plan straight away.

Cancelling

You can cancel a paid plan at any time, from the account menu in Kallydo or on Creem’s billing page. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, wherever you cancelled. After a subscription ends, your boards are kept, and you can open them again by subscribing.

Changing plan

You can move between the monthly and yearly plans from the account menu. Before you confirm a plan change or a cancellation, the app shows when it takes effect and what you pay. Moving to a shorter billing period never charges you before your paid period ends: the change takes effect when your current period ends, and you confirm the new plan then. Moving from monthly to yearly takes effect straight away: the full yearly price is charged, and the unused part of the monthly payment is refunded separately to your card. Plan changes are not available during a free trial.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your access continues for 7 days while the card is retried; if the payment has still not gone through after that, access stops until it does. If the first payment after a free trial fails, access stops at once. You can update your card from the account menu at any time.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem is the seller of your subscription: it handles tax, invoices and receipts, and collects your card details on its own pages under its Buyer Terms. Kallydo never sees your card number. Your card statement will show a charge from CREEM.IO*.

Refunds are handled by Creem under its Buyer Terms. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which runs from the day you sign up and so may reach into your first paid period. To ask for a refund, email hello@kallydo.com or contact Creem.

Ending your account

You can stop using Kallydo and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@kallydo.com. Deleting your account cancels any subscription or trial on it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your content.

Disclaimers and liability

Kallydo is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you before they take effect. Continuing to use Kallydo after that means you accept the updated terms.
